efficiency and morality typically align
for people who are smarter than MBAs
and spending two-thirds of your life
either too young and dumb
or too old and tired to do much of anything useful
is not efficient
of course, people work for a few decades
or a few years
and retirement becomes all they look forward to
this is because there are people who are fundamentally lazy
people who insist on putting all of their share of the mundane pain of life on others
they believe that life is a zero-sum game
that all societies collapse into a hierarchy
and so the point of life
is to climb the ladder as far as you can
and pass as much work as possible down to those below them
and whip them like slaves
hence
so God is trying to get rid of all the broken brains
and bringing back all the great souls he has ever seen
hopefully one day soon, we can all look at one another differently
